2019 Alberta Indigenous Games

August 11-17th



Indigenous youth from across Alberta are invited to

engage in a week of competitive sports, traditional games,

special events, education, and cultural connection at the


2019 Alberta Indigenous Games Aug. 11-17th Edmonton, Alberta

Registration is $100 per Sport for each individual athlete if not on a team.

Registration for teams is $550. 


There will be no refunds after July 31st, 2019.

Every individual competing whether on a team or not must fill out an individual registration/waiver form here is the link:

If not paying by credit card please mail payment in as deadline is July 15th.

Participants can register in more than one sport. For the sport of Athletics Athletes Can Register up to 6 events.

100m  – 200m  – 400m –  800m – 1500m  – 3000m – Cross Country  – Long Jump –  High Jump  – Discus –  Javelin – Shot Put

Archery, Athletics (Track & Field), Ball Hockey, Basketball, Canoeing, Cross Country, Golf, Divisions:

Junior: 2007-2004

Intermediate: 2003-2001

Senior: 2000-1999

Beach Volleyball, Fastpitch, Volleyball Divisions:

Junior: 2007-2005

Intermediate: 2004-2002

Senior: 2001-1999

Lacrosse & Soccer Divisions:

Junior: 2009-2007

Intermediate: 2006-2003 

Senior: 2002-1999

(If there are not enough registrations for the senior division in any sport then that specific sport senior division may be subject to cancellation. In addition, if there are an excess of registrations in any sport junior division then a new division may be created)

All participants under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by a chaperone

Canoeing @ Rundle Park

Cross Country @ Rundle Park

Golf @ Rundle Park Golf Course (12th start time TBD)

Lacrosse @ Location TBD

Soccer @ Rundle Park Soccer Fields

Volleyball St. Francis Xavier and Locations TBD

Wednesday August 14th

Medal Ceremonies in the evening (start time TBD)

Thursday- Saturday August 15-17th
